Graduate Landscapes was selected to deliver the entrance landscape works for the transformative Dunsfold Aerodrome development, helping establish a distinctive and high-quality arrival experience for one of the South East’s most significant regeneration projects.

The scheme included the installation of more than 200 Acer freemanii ‘Autumn Blaze’ trees within specialist engineered tree pits, alongside extensive wildflower meadow creation and protective fencing for over 10,000 newly planted whips. These works provide a strong green infrastructure framework, enhancing biodiversity, visual impact and long-term landscape performance.

The choice of Acer trees was particularly significant, serving as a tribute to the Canadian soldiers who contributed to the aerodrome’s construction during the Second World War. By combining ecological enhancement with meaningful heritage references, the project creates a memorable gateway that reflects both the history and future ambitions of the site.
